Valentine's Day is coming..........

I could only hold the girls off for so long with Valentine's for their classes. I finally gave in today at the store. Grace finished hers in record time and Lucy got halfway through addressing her classes in one sitting, pretty impressive for Kindergartener! They set up a Valentine station in the kitchen while I was making dinner.

3rd Annual Snowflake Dance

Last night was the 3rd Annual Snowflake Dance at SCC Elementary. The event is a lot of fun for the kids and keeps getting bigger each year. Here are the girls posing before we left. They both enjoyed dancing and hanging out with their friends.

Playing in the Snow

The kids have been diappointed in the lack of snow this year but the little bit we did get Friday along with the nice weather this weeked was enough for us to be able to enjoy it a little bit. They both were making snowmen by the time Dave and I got home Friday afternoon. Here is Grace posing with hers.

We finally got to try out the snowshoes that Santa brought the family. Here is Dad carrying each of the girls across the creek (and yes he did carry Mom too and the girls thought that was pretty funny!).

Here is our little family snowshoeing! It was a lot of fun and the girls made it a lot longer then we thought they would!

They kept themselves hydrated by eating snow along the way.
