Horse Lessons

The girls have been taking horse lessons at Pat and Terri's farm, Mullagh farm for three weeks now.  They are really getting the hang of it and the pony they are riding, "Little Guy" seems to enjoy the extra attention he is getting.  The girls really like it, we decided if they want to keep doing it after 10 weeks we will have to think about next steps....we are only on week 3 so we have a little while to figure it out.

Day at the Lake

Last Sunday we went up to Uncle Don and Aunt Sue's place for Breck's 1st Birthday.  We got to go on the tube and Leyton and Lucy both jumped in a couple of times as well.

Summer finally came........

Well, summer finally came and we have been doing what we do best.......swimming =)  The girls are spending the majority of their days in the pool now that the water is 85, we have had to start taking mandatory afternoon breaks so that they are ready to swim again when Mom gets home!  I'm sure we will have a lot more swimming posts this summer with our friends and cousins.

Dance Recital

Yesterday was the last day of Panther Camp and the girls dance recital also.  They are excited and a little sad to be done with school for the year.  I can't believe that we have a 2nd and 4th Grader now!  Wow!  I still catch myself telling people I have a 5 and 7 year old and they are going to be 7 and 9 this summer..........I never thought it would go so fast.  The girls did great at their dance recital.  Lucy was in hip hop, tap and jazz.  Grace did ballet and she really enjoyed it.

 With Grandma Pam, the Friday night show sold out and I must say we had a really great presence with Aunt Tina and Tommy (photo bombing in this photo), Maggie, Jessie, Lauren and Ella, Becky and Fiona, and Abby!  Thanks for coming everyone.

Good Neighbor Days Parade

Today was the parade for Good Neighbor Days, the girls rode on the 4-H float and it was a Hawaiian theme.  They had a good time and the sun even came out =)!

Sleepover with our Cousins

A couple of weeks ago we went and stayed in Rice Lake with the Weimerts.  We brought up a projection screen that let the kids watch a movie on the wall and they all spread out and watched the movie McKenna, the American Girl gymnast.  The next day we watched Lauren's dance recital, it was a fun weekend and one of the warmer ones we have had this crazy Spring.

4-H Musical

The 4-H Musical Group has had a busy month.  They performed at the Mayfair event at Glenwood City and at Good Neighbor Days too.

Thanks for coming to watch Aunt Tina, Maggie and Tommy when we were in Glenwood.  The kids got ice cream afterwards.  Notice that they are in their winter coats still on May 11th!

Piano Recital

The girls had their Spring piano recital at the beginning of May.  They both did great and really enjoy playing.  The recital is always fun to see how much they have improved and learned over the year.  Grace played a duet with our neighbor Camille also.
